By accessing or using The Amateur Golf League ("AGL," "we," "us," or "our") platform, website, and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By using AGL, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
AGL provides tools for tracking golf scores, calculating handicaps, and maintaining national rankings. You agree to submit accurate and honest scores. Falsifying scores, manipulating rankings, or engaging in any form of score fraud may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Round Verification: Verified rounds require attestation from a playing partner via email confirmation. AGL is not responsible for the accuracy of verified scores and relies on the integrity of both the player and the attestor. Fraudulent verification may result in permanent removal from the ranking system.
Ranking Points: Points are awarded based on our published scoring system. AGL reserves the right to modify the scoring formula at any time. Changes will be communicated through the platform and applied prospectively.
AGL facilitates optional peer-to-peer wagering between players during rounds of golf. By participating in wagers, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
AGL allows users to create and manage golf tournaments. Tournament organizers are responsible for the accuracy of tournament details, entry fees, and prize distributions. AGL provides the platform but does not guarantee tournament outcomes or prize fulfillment by third-party organizers.

Certain features of the Service, including the GPS rangefinder, course finder, and closest-to-pin measurements, require access to your device's location services. By enabling location access, you consent to AGL collecting and processing your location data solely for the purpose of providing these features. You may disable location services at any time through your device settings, though this may limit functionality.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the exclusive property of AGL and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. AGL does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. GPS distances, course data, and handicap calculations are provided as estimates and should not be relied upon as exact measurements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AGL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to AGL in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
AGL reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any funds remaining in your wallet at the time of termination will be refunded within 30 business days, minus any outstanding obligations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.
